BASIC OF MODERN MUSIC
Basic of modern music is the African music. The songs are written for
a special use. The most important songs are work songs, travel songs, marriage
songs and magic songs.
The great variety of races and tribes of Africa have all their own
traditions and so their is no general character of the African music. But
the main of the African music is that the musical live is in and with participation
of the society. The music signs ritual and magic. The strongest element
is the rhythm. In the African music are mostly two who alternate each other.

For many instrument which are used in the African music the characteristic
is that clear tones are avoided. Most they become disfigured by a supportive
sound.
In the foreground are the drums as well as other rhythmic instruments
like rattles, wood and metal bell. Other instruments are the wind instruments
they reach from flutes to trumpets.
The African music and dance are narrow bind. The African dance is full
of many forms is often used for magic and conjure up.
