The complete name of Aids is "Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome". This disease destroys the immune system. There are a few different periods of this disease. In the last period a little cold is able to kill you because your immune system is so weak. But first there is the HI-Virus which developed during years to Aids.
The origin of the HI-Virus is in Central Africa, especially in Zaire. It has been carried over from monkeys to natives. Some of these natives were send to Haiti in order to prostitute themselves to gay men. Then some of the gay men were infected with the HI-Virus.
So the new virus came over from Africa to Haiti and then to America.
In May 1980 the first clinical documented Aids-case was made public.
In June 1981 the United States Centre for Disease Control publicised the first official report about the epidemic. But that the illness Aids is a succession of the HI-Virus could the scientist first prove in 1983. Then they developed a
