Berlin
Berlin is not only the biggest city in Germany and have 3.398.000 population, but also Berlin is the capital of Germany. When the Berlin Wall fell, on 9th of November 1989 the Berlin Region became to the conurbation Europe. But as result of the division of Germany and Europe, was this city in the centre of continent was in extreme political and geographical isolate. The political changes in Europe restored Berlin to its former position in the middle of the continent.
Than Berlin is situated on the east-west axis from Paris to Warsaw/Moscow and on the north-south line from Stockholm to Prague/Vienna/Budapest. It has been transformed from the symbol of European division to the place where east meets west. The growing economy in Central and Eastern Europe finds a bridge to the western economy in Berlin.
Berlins position as the new capital is it the new home of the German parliament and government. That mean moving from the Rhein to the Spree.
