This is a report about the musicband "Böhse Onkelz". "Böhse Onkelz" is a German musicband and was founded in December 1980 in Frankfurt. The band consisted of three people, the first was the singer Kevin Russell, the second was the bass guitarplayer Stephan Weidner and the third was the drummer Peter Schorowsky. His nickname is "Pe". Later the guitarplayer Matthias Röhr joined the band. His nickname is "Gonzo".
In the eighties the "Böhse Onkelz" were a skinheadband, though they tried to get away from this image. At the beginning of the nineties they were controversial all over Germany, but their image wasn't changed. In 1991 they had a breakthrough, the album "Kneipenterroristen" was a sell-out. The Bavarian secret service confirmed, that the "Böhse Onkelz" have come away from the skinhead scene. And in the nineties they got engaged for Greenpeace and German trade unions. In 1993 they had their second and third breakthrough with the albums "weiß" and "schwarz", the albums were on the 10th and 12th place in German charts. The "Böhse Onkelz" speak against terror an violence against foreigners. The boys of the band "Böhse Onkelz" have learned from their mistake's. Their albums "Hier sind die Onkelz", "E.I.N.S." and "Live in Dortmund" got high chart places and goldrewards. In 1998 the maxi "Terpentin" got place one in the German single charts. Later the album "Viva los tioz" came out and were on the first place in German album charts. The subject "Böhse Onkelz" will always be talked about.
